Lovely pair of Royal Winton / Grimwwades Art Deco Chintz serving dishes. These are a fine pair of Royal Winton / Grimwwades Art Deco Chintz serving dishes in the Sunshine pattern that date, I would guess, to the mid 1930’s. They are depicted in an angular shallow dish form with lovely sprays of flowers (Sunshine pattern) to their entire bodies. The reverse has the above marks as well as a decorator’s mark and the model number’14030′. They measure 10″ (25.5cm) x 6 5/8″ (17.5cm) Approx. In excellent condition with defect to report. Pair Graduated Antique Early Art Deco Period Quality English Silver Plated Bowls / Dishes / Tazzas Pedestal Bases Engine Turned Starburst Pattern to Inner Bowls Twin Handles. Condition: The silver plate is in beautiful, intact condition and they are generally in good order. Small scratches to the inner bowls of both commensurate with age and use and a small patch of spotting to the larger bowl inside. They have been lightly cleaned with silver polish. Impressed to the bases. Mappin & Webb’s. Bowl – excluding handles: 21.25cm x 21.75cm. Overall length – handle to handle: 27cm. Bowl – excluding handles: 18.75cm x 19.25cm. Overall length – handle to handle: 24.5cm. Will be packaged carefully and securely and sent via a trackable service.

Arthur Vandyk Antiques are pleased to offer for sale this beautiful small pair of Art Deco style hallmarked silver pierced pedestal bonbon dishes, which were made by the highly popular firm of silversmiths, Adie Brothers Ltd. The pair have delicate pierced foliate pattern embellished with a sophisticated gadrooned border. This delicate pair of bowls have a beautifully pierced design inspired by nature and would look stunning on display in your home. This fine pair of silver bowls would make a fantastic addition to your silverware collection or be a thoughtful gift for a loved one, an ideal wedding, birthday, anniversary, housewarming, bar/bat mitzvah or christening gift. The details as follows. Year of manufacture: 1946. Combined Weight: 146 grams/4.7 troy ounces. Height: 3.5 cm/1.3 inches. Diameter: 12 cm /4.7 inches. In overall presentable condition, one of the dishes has two knocks to the pierced border and a small dink to the bowl as well as a heavy knock to the base, pictured,, the other pedestal dish has a small knock to the base.
