Here we have an outstanding pair of multicoloured “end of day” splatter glass posy vases made in Czechoslovakia. Though I have researched thoroughly. I “think” these were made by Franz Welz though I. Can never be certain with these as there were often similar pieces made by Kralik, Loetz, Rindskopf and other makers in that region. Either way it is absolutely stunning, and what you see in the photos is what you will receive. Rare to find a pair, the blue and white speckled pattern is beautiful. Complete with metal cover to hold your flowers which often goes astray. These would make practical or decorative pieces in your home. SUPERB PAIR OF ART DECO WALNUT BEDSIDE CHESTS. This is an amazing pair of walnut art deco bedside chests. The chests are in fabulous condition as they have recently been re polished. The chests have fabulous veneers both on the tops and drawers fronts. All the drawers have dovetails and original handles. We date these chests from the mid 30s to early 50s. The dimensions are as follows. If work commitments are a problem, we may be able to deliver from 6am if required. We carry out all deliveries ourselves however when not possibe a courier may be used. We try to bubble wrap most items at no extra cost. We also try to give a three hour time window so you dont have to stay in all day, any unforseen problems on the road, (so far we have never been late) you will be kept informed. Superb Near Pair Antique Art Deco Mercury Multi Faceted Glass Mantel Vases Urns

Here we have a superb, stylish near pair of Art Deco mercury glass mantel vases. These are spectacular, amazing they have lasted around 100 years damage free with them being so delicate. Mercury glass is a blown, double walled glass that is then silvered between the layers with a liquid silvering solution. It never actually contained mercury but got its name from its mirrored finish, at the time mercury was used for the reflective coating in mirrors. These beautiful pieces aren’t identical but are almost matching, the main difference is that one is slightly copper toned, the other being the usual silver finish. The other difference which isn’t as obvious, though they are both difficult to spot, is that one has slightly more facet edges than the other. I think they’re beautiful and would make a great pair of mantel vases or lovely items to display on the windowsill to reflect the light. I absolutely love these, they have a fantastic deco design seldom seen in this type of vase. These would date to around 1920-30 and are most likely Bohemian in origin. Each vase measures just under 7.5 inches by 3.25 inches. Perfect pieces for an interior designer, mercury glass collector or an art deco inspired home.
