This listing is for the pair – bought at the same time, from the same batch by my grandma. A very rare matched pair of tall blue Wade Art Deco Style jugs from the 1940’s, with version stamp 371. You’re unlikely to get an exact colour match due to the production technique, so these are rate as hens teeth! In perfect condition with only light use, there are no cracks, chips or signs of wear. Height approx 24 cm. These will look lovely in any setting, a quirky and unusual centrepiece, and I hope you enjoy them.

This rare matched pair was found wrapped carefully among an estate collection of maritime and naval memorabilia. The coloring may not show as well in pics as in person. It is a beautiful soft but strong copper tone. The surface has a warm feel to it. 26 1/2 inches long. The diameter of the main section is approx. The diameter of the end mount pieces is approx. When mounted, the inside surface of the bar will stand-off the wall by approx. Each piece weighs approx. 2 lbs 5 oz. I will note any obvious damage I see beyond typical imperfections or light wear visible in the photos.

Rare Rembrandt Gouda Holland Mirrored Image Pair Dutch Art Deco 11 Pottery Vases. These are two mirrored matching vases by Potterij Rembrandt from Nijmegen, Holland. When the company was “taken over” by PHZ (Plateelbakkerij Zuid-Holland) in Gouda, Holland, they renamed themselves, Rembrandt Pottery. They continued making about 150 of the first company’s molds and used their old markings, so it is difficult to say which factory these actually came from. Regardless, we are looking at a time period of the early 1900’s, possibly early 1920s. They measure 10 3 /8″ tall, 2 7/8″ diameter across the top and the base has a diameter across the bottom of 4 3/8; together they weigh 2 lbs. They are fully marked with the words, Pottery Rembrandt, Holland, the pottery mark (a pot with the letter R in the center), 4.0.57, the decor # 3 and the artist’s initial F. Other than some age related crazing, which is throughout both vases, there are no chips or cracks. Please look at all the photos, they are the best indication of the condition of the pieces. Sowerby made very few of those double candlesticks as the normal stick for the same trinket set (2590 pattern number) is a single stick. Welcome to my sales! Ive been collecting for many many years and ive now decided its time to slim down my stock. I’ll be listing items every week so please keep checking my site. I Specialize in interesting vintage &. Antiques & very often unique period items including. Furniture, collectibles, advertising & decorative pieces. And anything else i like really. A Fantastic Rare Pair of Vintage 1930-40s Art Deco Mannequin heads/masks, shop display items. Original and un-touched , un-cleaned. These are not made from the hard solid plaster as communally seen, but are made from a softer rubber type composite material as a mask type mould. Which was quite flexible when made, now has now seemed to have harden over time. Found in a shop store room which originally was a old Chemist shop. Not 100% sure of their use at the time, but i think they would have stood on the shop counter on their wood stands. Hopefully someone will tell me their use. Both would have been held in placed on their stands with small nail pins onto. The lovely painted stands bases, which are made from wood, base similar to chip board. They are showing signs of wear, due to age, man mannequin has more wear and damage then the woman. I cannot see any writing or a stamp mark in any way inside. Fantastic colour still remains. Ive not cleaned or repaired these in any way. But im sure with a professional clean they would look even better. Rare to see just one,, but as a pair even rarer. With a lovely natural patina to the metal work. 30cm/31cm (7.3/8) high. And not been touched up/repaired or restored (unless stated).
