FRENCH ART DECO WALL SCONCES BY SABINO a pair 1920s France Belgium

A wonderful pair of Belgo-French art deco wall sconces made around 1925-30. The solid bronze and brass mounts hold beautiful shades in clear frosted molded-pressed glass made by Marius Sabino. It is in fact a Sabino model cut in half to make a pair of sconces with. It was done on order by Sabino for the Belgian (Antwerp based) lamp producer who made these sconces. Both shades are signed Sabino on the rim. On the back of one of the sconces is written in Dutch “105 f, zonder lamp”. Meaning 105 Belgian Francs without light bulb. The sconces have a height of 24 cm (9,45 inches). They are 15,5 cm (6,1) wide. And 10,2 cm (4) deep. The wall lights are in good condition. One of the shades has a chip on the inside of the glass near the top. The original nickel plating is in good condition given its age. I cleaned and rewired the fixtures.
