Pair of original Deco armchairs. This pair date from the 1930’s are super stylish and comfortable too! I had them professionally upholstered and re-sprung but they have been used so some of the polish has come off the arms and there are scratch marks. There are water marks on the seats (seen in pics) but the rest of the upholstery is in good condition. They are upholstered in a good quality linen.

A pair of early 20thC side chairs with carved backrests and turned tapering spindles, above sprung seats raised on turned tapering front legs. 46cm wide x 41cm deep x 79cm high. Excellent condition structurally very sound with clean upholstery. Wear and tear commensurate with age. Collection welcome from Nr Aylesbury Buckinghamshire.

The diameter across the bottom is 10cm. Decorated in mottled green at the neck section with an art deco design in brown and blue for the rest of the body. Fully stamped with the Doulton Lambeth mark/stamp. There is also an artist mark of MB shown in the photos and I believe this are for Maud Bowden. Maud Bowden was with Doulton from 1903 through to 1937. No chips cracks or crazing.
